Catalogue Entry

This necklace is made up of eye pendants, pillar shaped pendants, and circular pendants. The body of the eye pendants is either blue, pale blue or orange in color. Then spherical or flat beads were applied in one or two layers of white and black concentric patterns. An orange colored hanging circle was then applied on top of that layering. There are also some examples without hanging rings. The pillar-shaped pendants are white glass with black glass spiralling patterns, with black suspended circular decoration. The circular beads were made from orange glass. These are typical glass jewelry items from the New Kingdom period.
