植物文飾板しょくぶつもんかざりいた

　樫の葉とドングリを浮き彫りで表現した飾板。無色からやや褐色の透明ガラスの上に不透明水色ガラスを薄く重ねて、鋳造したものである。水色の表面は現在ではやや黄色っぽく変色している。裏面は平らで、両側辺と一端は原形のままである。建物の装飾タイルとして使われたのだろう。

This decorative panel has a relief depiction of oak leaves and acorns. A thin layer of opaque pale blue glass was laid over a layer of colorless or brownish color translucent glass and then molded. The pale blue surface is somewhat yellowed today, The back is flat, while two sides and one end are in their original shape. This panel is thought to have been used as a decorative architectural tile.
