両手付瓶（１対）

茶色い半透明ガラスを宙吹きで成形した瓶である。口は垂直に立ち上がり、口縁部は中折れした上に、白い不透明ガラスの紐が一周している。肩から口にかけて、青色半透明のガラスで把手を付ける。底近くのガラスを内側に折り込み、高台のように見せている。胴部の丸みが美しく、端整な印象を与える作品である。香油瓶などに使われたものであろう。

These bottles were free-blown from brown semi-translucent glass. Their necks rise vertically, and above a central bend, the mouth rim was foldescence inward and its top is circled by a cord of white opaque glass. Blue semi-translucent glass was used to form handles which extend from the shoulders to the mouth. The glass near the base is bent inward to look like a foot. The round torso shape is lovely and these works have an extremely carefully regular feel. They were probably used to contain perfumed oil.
