緑色がかった透明ガラスを宙吹きした杯である。口縁部の少し下を内側に折り曲げて、中に一重の装飾紐をめぐらす。胴部中央付近には、細いガラス糸5、6回巻き付けて、装飾している。脚は3段になっており、一番底は、平たく薄い皿状のガラスで、その上にドーナツ形のガラスが2つ積み重なっている。飲器に使われたのだろうが、時代が下って少々ゆがみのある造形である。
Catalogue Entry
Cup free-blown from greenish translucent glass. The mouth is bent slightly inward beneath the rim to form a single decorative cord circles the interior of the cup. A thin glass thread is wrapped five or six times around the cup near the center of the body as decoration. The foot of the cup is made up of three layers. The bottom layer is made of flat, thin, dish-shaped glass, which is topped by two layers of donut-shaped glass. This cup was probably used for drinking. Its slightly later date has led to its slightly warped shape.
