　透明なガラスを吹いて成形した碗である。器の口から降りたガラスが一旦内側に折りたたまれて、口辺の立ち上がり部分を形成し、その後、器の胴部を形作っている。内底には三重の円装飾のへこみがあり、外底には、別なガラスで丸いパッドがあてがわれている。この頃、陶器もしくは鋳造ガラスで作られたパテラ杯の形を、吹きガラスで真似て製作したものと思われる。

This bowl was blown from translucent glass. The glass at the rim was first bent inward to form a raised edge, then the body of the vessel was formed. The inside of the base has a three layer circular decorative depression, and the outer base has an attached round pad of different glass. Around this period, glassmakers began to imitate in blown glass this patella cup shape normally made in ceramic or cast glass.
