吊手付二連瓶

透明な緑色ガラスの管を中央で折り曲げて二連瓶を作る。細いガラス糸を巻き付けて装飾し、底から口に向かって波形の紐飾りを四方に這わせ、三段に重なる吊手を付ける。底にはポンテ跡があり自立しない。実にユニークな形であるが、この時代には化粧品を入れる容器として、ポピュラーなものであった。

A translucent green glass tube was pinched and folded in the middle to create this double-bodied bottle. Thin glass threads are wrapped around the body as decoration and four corners of wave shaped cord decoration extend from the base towards the mouth. The whole is topped by a three-layer suspended handle. The base has traces of pontil and is not free-standing. This truly unique shape was popular during this period as a container for cosmetics.
