この獅子像の、顎を巡る鬚、鱗状の鬣、前脚と後脚の洋梨状の筋肉表現はアケメネス朝ペルシャの様式を示している。分厚い錆によって他の銀製像(駱駝か？)の脚に後脚がくっついている。

This lion is fitted with a beard circling his jaw, a scale-like mane, and pear-shaped musculature on its forelegs and hind legs, all elements indicative of an Achaemenid period Persian style. The thick rust meant the legs of another silver figure (a camel?) have adhered to the hind legs.
