優美的書法文字―對平安時代的優美及王朝文化的憧憬―
自古以來的日本是效仿大陸文化,經由佛教和律令而發展起來的。廢除了駐華使節後,開始邊與大陸交流,並走向日式化之路,致使表達出日本獨特情感的和歌及平假名之誕生,可說是代表了日本審美意識的王朝文化之花朵綻放了。
這種文化雖然隨著武士階級之興起而日漸沒落,但隨著太平時代的來臨,再度被永續傳承,並轉化為一種憧憬。
本次展覽是MIHO MUSEUM所藏之《日暮帖》首次在本館的展出。 《日暮帖》原本是近代愛好和歌、茶道之人吉田丹左衛門作為手鑒用的。
之後傳承到創立常盤山文庫的菅原通濟(一八九四~一九八一)手中,並配合他已故妻子去世十三周年,將他收藏的和歌切再次編輯,將它們製作成掛軸,而成為了『日暮帖』。可說是古書法斷簡最高峰的「高野切」,以及在和式紙張上以金銀泥來描繪的花鳥紋及花草紋的「栂尾切」,體現了平安時代優雅的「石山切」等等,收藏有書法著名的能者五・七・五・七・七長音定型化的短歌三十一幅。除了這個「日暮帖」,還包括MIHO MUSEUM收藏的作品,可觀看到從平安貴族文化誕生到桃山時代初期對王朝文化憧憬下所交織的作品。
我們希望您能感受到那殘留至今的風雅之人被洗練過的美麗氣息之「優雅」。
