The special exhibition Here is Shangri-La: Tracing the Footsteps of I. M. Pei and the Miho Museum Story commemorates the 20th anniversary of Miho Museum, which opened on November 3 twenty years ago, and celebrates its illustrious architect I. M. Pei, who turned one hundred this April. Looking back at the last twenty years, the entire museum will be dedicated to this exhibition. The South Wing features conversations with I. M. Pei and with art in the form of little known architectural stories about our museum. The North Wing highlights acquisitions since the opening of the museum as well as works shown for the first time. This section also explores the history of the museum at the time of its opening. We hope you will enjoy the diversity of works that makes up our collection at Miho Museum.
